Unometer Safeti Plus

System for Measuring Hourly Diuresis System for Measuring Hourly Diuresis System for Measuring Hourly Diuresis System for Measuring Hourly Diuresis

Anti-reflux valve at the connector to the catheter. Connection tube to the measuring chamber double lumen, in order to avoid the accumulation of residual urine in the tube.

Urine sampling bag, with a discharge system and an anti-reflux valve, previously connected to the measuring chamber, with 2000ml capacity. 30 µm hydrophobic anti-bacterial filter. Allows for lateral placement of discharge valve.

These features allow for the horizontal placement of the Unometer (with posterior section facing upwards) without risking retrograde contamination, without interrupting bladder drainage and without deficiencies in the readings after returning it to its vertical position. Occasional urine losses to the patient’s bed are eliminated.

The hygienic opening at the top can be performed with a single hand.

The discharge to the urine sampling bag is vertical, performing an hourly chamber cleaning flush and preventing the ascending progression of bacteriuria.

The new Unometer Safeti Plus ™ features a universal porthole for collecting urine samples without use of a needle – KombiKon ™. In this fashion, one prevents one of the major risks of injury to the nurse, by sting with infected needle. Collecting urine samples can now be carried out comfortably and safely.

The KombiKon porthole ensures usage that is risk-free of system contamination, documented by clinical trial (available). The Kombikon porthole can be used with any standard measure syringe.

The lid protects the filter from any accidental spillage of liquid.

The lid design also makes needle penetration of the filter impossible.
